How does one browse a Hull ID Quantity?
The Hull Identification Quantity (HIN) can be a 12- or 14-character serial quantity that uniquely identifies a ship. The HIN is analogous to the VIN on a car or truck.
The very first three digits would be the Company’s Identification Code (ex. Boat model for instance Sea Ray, Meridian, and so on.). The four digits after that will be the maker’s serial number for the boat. The third and 4th digits from the stop tend to be the day of manufacture.
